This week in the news we talk about Netblender coming out with their BD Touch software that allows your Blu-ray player to communicate with your iPhone or iPod Touch. The BBC iPlayer is now available for you to use on your Nintendo Wii, so you can watch your BBC TV shows. Adobe launches their Adobe Media Player and Adobe TV website to compete with Apple TV and other IPTV services. Canadian game developers Hermitworks has released a video of Quake 3 Areana running on the iPod Touch. Is this what we have to look forward to when the iPhone SDK is released. TiVo wins again in appeals court against EchoStar (Dish Network) for violating it’s patents on DVR software. Will this effect your Dish Network DVR. Also there is a rumor that Microsoft is going to launch their own chain of retail stores.
